I first visited this restaurant over 30 years ago and it has not changed. The Swiss chalet and music is reassuring and the fondues good. Service is also what you would expect from a top class restaurant. We were 3 people and shared a fondue with individual starters and deserts. Make sure someone in your party orders the Swiss chalet... More

Just had a nice dinner at Chesa last night. I booked through the website and remarked it was for my hubby's birthday, their response was fast and confirmed my booking in a second. The little restaurant is located one 1/F of the Peninsula Hotel, with cozy and romantic atmosphere. The service there was absolutely great and warm. We had a... More

If you like something light to start, have the salmon consommé, or if you like something creamy, have the cream of Puy lentil with duck rissole. We then had the organic beef cheek and grilled pork loin, both rich and flavour without being too heavy. The chocolate mousse was just right as it wasn't too sweet, the Earl Grey-orange roulade... The best place I have been for Raclette and Fondue. A must go and try if you love cheese. They have a great Tomato flavored Fondue too if your not all about the cheese.

My partner and I wanted to eat at Gaddis but I wasn't in a suit, so we decided to check out Chesa. Service was great, food was good. The pics attached showed our set lunch. Pretty good deal too! They give a discount if you have an Amex by Peninsula.

Hadn't dined here in a few years so was nice to come back. You could well forget for a moment you are in Hong Kong - such is the artistic decor of this place. Service was first rate. Chose the mushroom soup for starters and the grilled cheese for main course. Excellent choice! Opted for dessert but I was really... More

The little wooden room bring you to a cozy house to enjoy Swiss food. Cheese fondue is the best I ever had! They also have raclette cheese and in Dec, they will have it freshly carved in front of you. You can't stay away from it.It is unbelievably yummy!

Having been to Chesa a number of times due to it great decor, nice staff and previously also the food....it has come to a point where the food consistency is lacking. Overcooked Raclette, dry and with crust as waits too long under heat before being served.....so it loses the flavor, Frog legs to be tasted by the management....as basically tasteless... More

Been visiting this restaurant for the last 20 something years but this time they lost a very loyal customer. Service was terrible as my Appetiser, I ordered sausage salad but got mixed salad and main course ordered saucisson vaudoise, but got veal sausage. I had to eat my main course after all the other people finished theirs, group of 7... More

This is the Peninsula quality. It's so confident to enjoy dinner. Chesa offers Switzerland cuisine, Fondue, Raclette, Cheese plate, Salami and prosciutto crudo. Lamb chops was also so nice taste. And one of good point is their original wine (White & Red) are great. It's popular restaurant, so you should book in advance.
