I've been coming here for years and haven't been for a while so I decided to check in. If you are looking to taste the local beef brisket, then go somewhere else. Really. There are plenty of local joints that will easily cost half of what you pay here and it simply is not worth your time. The quality has... More

This has become a really touristy place. Service is not ideal, always a very rushed meal. Pricey for a small bowl of noodle. Minimum charge of $40 per person but this is never the issue, the two of us will order three bowls, a curry brisket one, a normal half fat brisket one and a plain noodles to finish off.... More

Beef tendon curry with noodles is very delicious, a little bit spicy and just the right portion size for a decent meal. I ended up twice at this place and found it to be crowded. However 10-20 minute wait is absoluetely normal. If someone does not want to wait I recommend avoiding the times around 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.... More

Beef noodle was good and tasty. Staff attitude and service was poor. Speech from reception was harsh. For me, purchase once is enough.

Rude and impatient waitress. Floor of shop also very slippery from soup stains. Not safe to walk around especially for the aged. I suggest you give this place a miss since they are so arrogant. Am sure you can find other equally good beef noodles shop in HK.

I had the beef brisket noodle and then also asked for a bowl of curry beef (extra). Taste amazing! The queue was okay, we only needed to wait for 10-15 minutes because the service was fast. The noodle was yummy, the noodle soup was even more delicious and the beef made me speechless..it was melted in my mouth. I am... More

Love the beef noodles here! Salivating while typing this! We had to queue about 30min even at 9pm on a Thursday but I gotta say it was well worth the wait - you must try!

Waited for almost 50min before we got our 4 seats which we shared with 3 other people. The dry flat noodles was undercooked but the soup Ee fu noodles was really good. Soup is bursting with flavour - this alone is worth the queue time. Don't expect friendly or exceptional service.

This is a small shop that has gained huge popularity amongst the Asian tourists over the years. The seating is cramped and uncomfortable. However, once you take a sip of the soup, suddenly you will forget about the surrounding. The soup has a deep rich flavor that permeates into all your senses. The beef brisket is soft and almost melts... More

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighbourhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area.
