Maxim's Palace is always our favorite Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong for dim sum. The dim sum carts offer a variety of delicacies. The scenery of the Victorian Harbour is also very nice. It is certainly the place for everyone.

Ten of us went to Maxim's for dim sum. For some, it was the second visit in our short time in Hong Kong. The dining room is huge but calm and does not feel crowded. The ladies are constantly wheeling dim sum carts around the...More

Food: If you are local you will find old skool dim sum that's no longer available in other restaurants. I was surprised to find coconut cream pudding and baked sago pudding amongst other rare treats. Nothing beats a bit of childhood nostalgia! Service: Typical efficient...More

It took us a while to find Maxims in City Hall but it was worth it - we arrived at around 11.30 and easily got a table but by noon there was a lengthy queue so get there early! Food was great, old fashioned trolley...More

This is the must visit restaurant whenever my family goes to Hong Kong. Love the variety of new and traditional dim-sum and the steaming hot dim-sums in bamboo bowls from the trolleys.

I had big expectations because of the reviews but what a let down. The food is not outstanding and the service is terrible. People bark out what’s on the trolley in Chinese and when stopped to ask what they have they are annoyed. This place...More

Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies
with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The
area widely known as Central is the major financial
hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up
to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open
late into the night and there just happens to be a
street party every weekend. Although everything seems
to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of
