Small restaurant with very good service and food. Specializes in various cuts of Tuna. The Tuna is really fresh and good. Reasonably priced. The combo plate includes soup, rice and egg custard and dills.

Very busy restaurant with long queues on friday and saturaday nights. No waiting time on Sunday night that's why we paid a visit good that they tell you where the food come from (i.e.which prefecture in Japan or country) very neat garnishing!

The lunch sets are good value for what you get. You get a chawanmushi, a veggie side dish, an udon and a dessert along with your chosen don. Sashimi was fresh during our visit, especially the salmon and salmon roe. The sea urchin on the other hand can be of inconsistent quality.

We went to Doraya to eat sashimi on a cold night. Perhaps the cold weather may have affected the temperature of the sashimi. Based on good recommendations from friends, we came here to eat sashimi donburi which are supposedly of really good value. They are good value for the price, but the sashimi we got that night was really icy... More

You can find different variety of tuna dishes and other Japanese dishes here. Of those, tuna steak don is a must try. The tuna steak is seared and seasoned nicely, and the price super reasonable! But expected to queue if arrived in busy hours.

Japanese restaurant specialising in tuna at very reasonable prices. Immensely popular - come early or prepare to queue. The price of the otoro rice is quite amazing!

Be prepared to wait in line with Japanese customers (proves authenticity of the food)for a good 10-15minutes in this busy, slightly cramped, in-and-out restaurant. Specializing in tuna dishes, this restaurant also offers a delicious melt-in-your-mouth wagyu beef carpaccio (Japanese style of course), grilled smelt amongst others... The popular restaurant has a high turn-over rate which means the affordable dishes are... More
