I had their signature polo bun, egg tart and milk tea. Staff who took my order was ok but when I wanted to buy polo bun was plain rude. I said I wanted plain polo bun as indicated on the menu, but she asked again and raised her voice. In Hong Kong, there are many great eateries and this is... More

The hot and fresh polo bun was lovely. Crispy outside and soft inside. With a thick slice of butter, making it a nice Hong Kong style breakfast, oh must have the milk tea as well.

Polite and helpful English speaking lady boss appeared when we asked for the English menu and helped us to order their signature polo paus filled with either butter, a chicken chop, corned beef omelette or Char siew. Plain with butter was still the best.

Pineapple bun with butter is the best of all... Sometimes staff hook you up with other local people at your table just to share a table as the restaurant is full.. Great experience of eating and drinking right in front of HK people sitting opposite side without saying anything.

For 4days stay in Hongkong, this is the only restaurant that we experienced bad service. We went here on the 2nd day for breakfast. I will never forget the lady who served our food that time. I ordered pineapple bun and noodle soup. My husband want a heavy breakfast so he ordered rice, pork and egg but the lady waived... More

I recommend trying this place for its delicious pineapple buns with butter. Together with a hot milk tee this makes a good hong kong breakfast. Usually the people order something extra to the pineapple bun. But I ended up only eating one bun here and find something like noodles for lunch later. For me this is a must try when... More

Their signature Pineapple bun is the best, if you find the one with butter is too heavy, you can always go for a "lighter" version, it tastes delicious too!! However, I found that buying the bun to-go is fresher than dine-in. Other must Try item - Egg Tart, French Toast, HK style milk tea......

A local cafe and a must-stop for anyone walking through Mongkok! I was lucky to stay in a hotel where Kam Wah was basically a few steps away. $6 HKD for one pineapple bun, this is one of the most affordable breakfasts anywhere, whether you want to sit inside the small cafe or eat it on the go. I had... More

If you want to see what many Hong Kong people have for breakfast, this is the place to go. It's a medium sized place that has pretty good seating and menus for English speaking people. As usual, they advertise their online reputation and TripAdvisor ranking all over the walls. Go for their signature Pineapple buns and the Fried Toast. They... More
