We went around lunch time and there was set lunch menu but not many veg options . we requested our waiter to replace all the meats and seafood in the thai curries with only vegetables. They did and what a perfect thai veg curry we had! the set lunch is very economical as it you can choose from a few... More

I think this restaurant does not deserve 3 stars average but at least 4 stars. I would give 5 but then I would expect price to be 20 % lower. In any case I had seafood salad, roasted lamb and mixed drink totalling 300 HKD. I arrived on Saturday at 5.30pm and I was alone here but don't get spooked... More

If you looking for a quick Thai, this is the place. After ordering, the food. Came within 10 minutes. It's not bad, but also not something I would thing it's really ok. It's very loud inside and the service (mostly of a elderly woman) was terrible. I almost thought that I went to a fast food service instead of a... More

We were there for dinner around 5pm, there were only a few people there at this time. Our waiter was horrible, unfriendly and unpatient. When my colleague ordered some indian dish (they have indian and thai food) our waiter said there is no indian food until 6pm. Neither in the menue nor somewhere else in the restaurant was something saying... More

We were looking for a place to eat this was busy and looked decent so we tried it. It was very noisy and the service was terrible, we ordered four dishes and some rice. After half an hour one dish arrived, after another half hour two bowls of rice and eventually the rest of the food after we had complained... More

We were just walking by looking for a place to eat and my mom wanted Thai food. The restaurant is upstairs and the place looked decent. We ordered four dishes mixed seafood and coconut, green curry and roast duck, sweet and sour fish and pineapple fried rice with a bottle of red wine which was really really bad and a... More

I had the cashew chicken. It was fine, but nothing spectacular, so much so that I needed to look at my credit card receipts to remember the name of the restaurant. You have to ride an elevator from the lobby to get to the restaurant. The atmosphere is good, food is ok, and the location on Nathan Road was good... More

Food was ok - but pricy for what you get. Our waiter made us feel like we inconvenienced him.

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
