The best side dishes with lots of choices. Although the price is on the high side, I must say the over all food is good.

I went Tobak Restaurant with my friends, and we ordered grilled beef dishes and a bowl of cold Korean buckwheat noodle. They gave us very generous amount of complimentary side dishes. The food was delicious, the ambiance was nice and the service was great. But we hope for more variety of sauces that comes with the main dish. :)

This is one place where they do not skimp on the number of banchan ( side dishes ). All of the side dishes were good. In fact, one can just eat the side dishes and be full but of course, that is the not the main reason why we were here. I wanted to try the seafood pancake, vegetarian kimchi... More

Banchan or side dishes here are brilliant. From time to time of my visit I notice they make some variations. While my sons are busy with the grill meat, I am busy with the banchan 😊. The resto serves variety of dishes such as bbq meat, noodle soup, jap chay (fried korean vermicelli), steam egg - ooh I love it,... More

Out of all Korean restaurants I've visited, Tobak serves one of the best tasting side dishes I've known. The salad and vegetable wrap were so so fresh and crunchy, it's so tasty. The small fried tofu was very simple but so good. The sliced steamed egg was simply tasty. And the Kimchi! It's one of the best I've tried so... More

Tobak is probably one of the best Korean restaurants in Jakarta. You can see that many Korean expats eat here. But it sure is very pricey.

This Korean BBQ restaurant only has octopus for BBQ, the rest is beef and pork meat BBQ. Similar to other Korean resto nearby, they provide free flow of small Korean dishes (kimchi, Korean pancake, pickles, omelette etc.) In the menu, they have live octopus, to be swallowed alive, which is not my kind of thing to eat. Tobak offers quite... More

The food sure is good. The meat they use is of high quality and their galbitang soup is one of the best soup i've ever tried . But i still think it doesn't justify the price. So if you are a person who loves quality over price you should try Tobak, it is as authentic as it can get for... More

we were actually planed to go to Korean restaurant next door (bornga, but it was full booked and too busy) So we ended up here, thought we give it a try. The food is nice, but it was away too expensive (Compare from our previous visit from Born-Ga) But they have baby chair. Not planning to coming back tho.

I love korean food, this restaurant is one of my recommendation in Jakarta. The price is quite expensive but you can taste authentic korean food here. The side dish is various and the grilled meat is delicious. The soup is quite sour and in big portion. Like another korean restaurant, you will get free desert here. NB. Try the galbi
