This is open air typical restaurant, two-story javanese vintage buillding with first floor with lots of decorations, second floor with the view to backyard and surround by bamboo wind chimes. Very nice ambience. The food is delicious, I order fried rice and their special local...drink susu jahe ( condensed milk with ginger). The drink served in special cup. Their back yard is available for some people loves to outdoor activity. Check their operational hours cause during pandemic, operational hours is change regarding to local rules and appeals.More

This place is owned by a drag with his pictures and standees all around! Accdg to the legends this restaurant is as much as a Jogja icon as the owner. The place is a traditional Javanese and the interior has that homey feel. We sat...at the middle where you're on squats. Food was average and cheap. Too bad they don't serve beer, lol. I wont mind coming back here just to show this place to visiting friends.More

We had our first meal here after arriving. The foods were awesome which literally spoiled our other meals here at Yogya. The impressions was that deep honestly. The Sate we had here were soooo delicious that we couldn't help but want more. The woods were...fragrant, and a little spicy which will open up your tastebud so much! There was also a show by the dancer here and the setting is very traditional! Worth your visit if you are looking for affordable and nice dinner!More

We came to Raminten by recommendations of our friends to try local cuisine of Jogja. It seems like busy restaurant, even with waiting area and chairs, that's nice. There is option of low tables with seating on the floor or proper tables with chairs. We...chose the last one and wait around 10 min, cause we didn't make a reservation before. Menu was extended with many local options. We tried rice with chicken baked in bamboo, and chicken rice in banana leave, also some mixed sate and local drink with lemon and lemongrass. We find food a bit dry and also sate is tiny without any sause even after we ask. Generally portions are quite small, but prices are very affordable. it's a good idea to come here to try many different dishes with a company of friends, also they have shop with some nice souvenirs.More

Good tradition vibes and good traditional food. Best when visited in the evenings-night They don't accept cards, so do carry cash.

A menu with many choices of the local fare. The food is tasty, well presented and the service is great. Though it may seem a little pricey, it is worth every penny. If you are in Yogyakarta, then it is a must that you have...a meal at this place.More

Place looks for tourist but i guess majority are local people, i didn’t see much foreigners and it doesn’t look they have much. Menu is wide with photo but not so clear what it is. It is for sure a local food restaurant, food is...testy but can be difficult for foreigners to like as it is proper local. My rateMore

This is a popular eatery among the locals and there is usually a queue. We managed to get a table for two upstairs. Do note that you sit on cushions on the floor, and your legs may cramp or be uncomfortable if you are not...used to it. Prices are super reasonable, and dinner for the two of us was just over 100000 rupiah. We had two teas, chicken satay - which was rather stringy - a fried noodle and a gudeg rice set, which was tasty. You order from the lady staff and food is delivered in around 15-20 minutes. Do take the time to look at the carriages on display in the main lobby.More
