An alternative if you want Sate Klatak, but you dont want to go to far south of jogja. Price is really cheap with big portion.

the sate is unique, not using stick from bamboo, but part of wheel. it used a kuah. try also the gule and oseng2. the tea is so traditional. cheap.

If you like young goat sate( like barbecue ) this place different but really nice, the price also really reasonable, little bit far but still nice to try, the one famous food in Yogyakarta.

Sate klatak has been a famous food in Yogyakarta. It's a bit different form the usual satay that we know. It is only seasoned with salt. I found the meat very tender. Moreover, it is a big chunk of meat, so the price worth the quantity. It's not that expensive though. I also recommend the tongseng (broth). It's very tasty!

Sate Klatak is made from young lamb and only seasoned with salt. Satay klatak stick has different from other stick. It's was made from the spikes of a bicycle wheel. Besides not easily broken if burned, bars can also be used. Use of this just added to the bars of the maturity level of the satay. I met some of... More
