Went hoping for a nice first meal in Jogja and it was just bad. Ordered Eyem Penggeng Dada—chicken breast, but no such thing. Only some rib bones with hardly any meat and a small wing. Also ordered Pecel. All is served at room temperature—which makes...one wonder how much of a risk one is taking eating food sitting in a pot for hours in this heat. Gave it two stars because the sauces did have a nice taste. But, save your money and disappointment, find another place to ear.More

Delicious food, especially the eyem penggeng. Nice atmosphere with fans swirling on the high ceiling, open to a little patio with an old well, and sketches on the back wall. IDR 100K for two people with drinks

When they say it’s spicy, believe them! This is true, Indo level spice they serve up there. But the food was fresh, and the service with a smile.

I don't know if the "Ibu" is still there in the kitchenm but what you get in your plate taste real Indonesian food inspired by hundreds of years of tradition. It's rich, tasty, original, yummy. It's always packed of Indonesian people (which is good sign),...and the service is very attentionate. Super cheap and very good food. Good adress.More

The area is littered with art galleries, antique shops, restaurants and bars. Bu Ageng is a nice restaurant selling good Indonesian food at reasonable prices and always seems to be busy.

Really delicious food at quite a low price (cheaper than some of the more touristy restaurants nearby).

We just knew that this restaurant was a venue for AADC 2 movie and the owner is spouse of Indonesian actor. I ordered ayam bumbu rujak, sayur asem with rice. The taste is quite good, not spicy and the price is affordable. The location is...closed to Batik Rumah (one of my fav batik store in Jogja). The ambience of restaurant is homey, but it's a little bit dark as it has less of lightning.More

This is more a restaurant than a warung, but prices are modest and the food is tasty. I enjoyed the Pecel (green vegetables with peanut sauce) on 2 occasions and was pleased with the size of the portion and the flavour. There is a relaxed...atmosphere here and the staff are friendly and helpful.More

We landed at noon and this is the first place we went before checking into our hotel. Delicious and homey food! I'm glad we choose this in our list. Very java and delicious 😍 definitely will be coming back for it.

This is a no frills restaurant, we ordered almost everything on the menu. Portions are small but they were tasty and served family style. The fish head curry was delicious. Food you would expect when cooked at home.
