Amazing value at this restaurant for a wonderful variety of local fare. Local fare that was top drawer. Stunning in fact. A few of the dishes would be classed as the best I have ever had, and believe me that is an honour. Value for money was incredible - in fact I will say it was just so very cheap... More

After our whole day summit in Metro Centre, the event staff were really exhausted and craving for good food as reward to ourselves. We then drove to Golden Cowrie. The place is not as huge compare their branches in Cebu but it is still big enough to accommodate a number of clients. It is very clean and adorn with beautiful... More

Staff are good and friendly however most food in the menu is not available ... we order ginataang langka with chilli but it is as cold as ice and smell like a coconut oil is in there overtime.

The dishes were nice, But most of the dishes on the menu are not available. The waiters gave me the feeling that they were laughing at us. The staff started to clean the restaurant around us before closing time. The waiters were exteriourly polie but they caused an unpleasant feeling over all.

Very big menu but most of it is unavailable, also the writers laughed every time after informing us that the dish we picked was not available, it took us half an hour to find available dishes. Fifteen minutes before closing time the chairs were already on the tables and the music off, while we were still eating, we were practicality... More

Another Tagbilaran restaurant that has not matured beyond its opening Decent food and bottomless rice servings. However, is found lacking when compared with the same restaurant in Cebu. Good for large parties

Golden Cowrie serves some of the best food in all of Bohol and the cost is more than reasonable. The staff is friendly and very attentive. Golden Cowrie is a short walk from the Cathedral/Plaza Rizal. ENJOY

We have visited Golden Cowrie for a dinner to enjoy some Filipino delicacies. The first thing that I paid attention was the service provided by Jupiter. Being a hotelier I know the steps of service and Jupiter actually scored top mark of each point. The food was great, very quickly prepared, portions big that we could not finish all. We... More

The service was nice, but the food taste horrible. We ordered kinilaw, pansit hangman sea food , garlic rice and grilled tuna belly. Pansit noodle was uncooked, the grilled tuna belly had many scales. Most of the food was unavailable. Same restaurant name Hukad this restaurant is really not good. So don't waste your time to visit here.
