I was really excited to go to this place and I did. Its located between station 2 and station 1. You have to choose our sea food and then there are cooking hawkers who cook this for a reasonable price. I choose mussels lobster and 4 tiger prawns. My vendor for lobster and prawns asked for 2500 pesos and as... More

Please don't leave the island without going to Sababi to have lunch/ a hearty meal. The unique experience of shopping for fresh seafood at the wet market and having them cook for you is something you must try at least once. We had a yummy array of food which included, but not limited to the following: 1. scallops 2. sinigang... More

Delicious delicious delicious!!! Sababi is located right opposite D'Talipapa so it is highly convenient to purchase the seafood and seamlessly get it cooked. My partner and I made 2 separate trips to Sababi during our 5 night stay at Boracay. The first trip was with 2 other friends (total 4 pax) and we had just bought lobster, prawns and 2... More

Good foor but the service is not. They served our food in wrong table, so we're waiting for almost an hour.

A must try when visiting Boracay. Wet market is just beside the "Sababi Palutuan" Cooking Restaurants so it is very convenient to buy fresh seafoods. Buttered Green Shell Mussel and Lapu-Lapu in Sweet and Sour are my favorites. Shrimps seems over-cooked but still good to eat same with the Crabs , Salted Kangkong and Clams. Overall, a recommended place for... More

I am very fond of Seafoods. Going to Talipapa is a dream come true because you get to buy fresh and assorted seafoods at a reasonable price (you really have to practice your haggling skills!). I've tried alot of Paluto Restaurants within the vicinity and so far, the best is Sababi. Its location is near the market itself (you will... More

Sababi Paluto is another iconic food stop when in Boracay. Don't expect to order food here as they don't sell any. You need to buy the raw ingredients from the nearby market place and then bring it to them for cooking. They can cook almost everything but mostly it's either steamed, fried, and baked. You can also request that they... More

Please choose to dine at this restaurant after picking your fresh seafood from the wet market. The waitress was very attentive to my needs, paid her a small tip and she helped me to purchase all of my requested seafood at the market price. Super affordable and yummy!! Chilli crabs and butter garlic crab was SO GOOD. And baked scallops... More

Sababi Restaurant is very adjacent to D'Talipapa Wet Market. You can ask them to cook whatever you just bought from the market. You'll enjoy fresh seafood less the exorbitant prices of most Bora restaurants

Our first trip to the D'Talipapa seafood market and follow up restaurant was a bit of a disappointment. We broke the code as far as getting cheap seafood but the trick now was having it cooked by the right group of people. Based on teh recomendation of the locals we met in other parts of the Island, The Sabibi is... More
