We had an enjoyable lunch at Whitegrass 7mths ago and decided to revisit Whitegrass for my daughter's 18th birthday just in time for their Valentine's menu. I have to tell you we seldom revisit a restaurant as my foodie daughter likes to try out as...many Michelin restaurants as possible. But the cosiness of the restaurant, the attentive but not obtusive service staff and of course the food curated by Chef Takuya. We ordered both the Executive and Creation lunch menu to share. Chef is a master. He pairs the ingredients of all dishes very well. Seafood was fresh, unique vegetables from Japan was sourced and really superb. Attentions to details were given to each and every ingredients. Palate cleanser was great, my favorite black sesame seed bread was unforgettable ( I could eat that everday), the A4 wagyu was so good, their signature fried fish with scales was good as always, dd loves the chocolate dessert while I prefer the kumquat. We also like the attentive and friendly service staff, Hao and Grace. We had an unforgettable day and my daughter is very thankful. My daughter and I had lunch at Whitegrass and it was an exquisite experience. They pay great attention to detail, from the decor, ambience, service and food quality. We chose lunch-time because we wanted to see the restaurant during the day. The main dining room...was tastefully decorated with a gorgeous center flower arrangement and surrounded by soft natural sunlight. All the dishes were beautifully presented, with unique flavors and textures. One of the best dishes was the wagyu beef - melt-in your-mouth. It was special that the chef came out to present us with delicious financiers to celebrate our mother-daughter get together after 5 months apart. The service personnel, Lai and Grace were super attentive at every course. Patient and personal. Hubby called cos we could not locate the place. The wagyu is excellent. The bread is really good. very crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. The sesame bread is one of a kind 😎😎😎. I take the 8 course meal and the small octopus cut is really good. 😀 It should...be considered as main course in the future.More

Visiting Singapore for a week and made the best decision to visit Whitegrass on my last day. The whole experience was amazing. I was dining on my own and did a walk in. The staff were very welcoming and engaging. They chatted with me at...appropriate moments. When they knew I made the trip to try the restaurant, they invited the chef to have a chat with me. And the chef made an extra piece of cake and "bon voyage" written on the plate. Of course the food was amazing! One of the best meals ever. The chef is from Japan. He used Japanese ingredients in a few of the dishes. The mushroom soup was perfect. Beef cheek was super tasty. Dessert was another highlight. Ricotta sorbet on top of crumbles and with citrus around. The sorbet was so light and full of flavor. Definitely the highlight of my trip!More

We dined at Whitegrass on 9/12/2022 for our wedding anniversary. One word to sum it all up: impeccable! From start to end, we had a wonderful experience. The food was superb and we were really pleasantly surprised by not just the quality, but the attention...given to every dish. Unlike some Michelin starred restaurants, the chef & team at Whitegrass really took careful consideration of our dietary requirements and we were very impressed. Every single dish was superb- truly hard to come by! We even ordered second servings of the longtooth grouper and madeleines because they were just so good. My husband is usually not into fine dining but he was genuinely impressed last night. We are already planning our next meal back at Whitegrass. :) Thank you, Chef Takuya, Vincent and team, for the amazing food and taking the time to personally come to our table & chat with us.
