We had an enjoyable lunch at Whitegrass 7mths ago and decided to revisit Whitegrass for my daughter's 18th birthday just in time for their Valentine's menu.
I have to tell you we seldom revisit a restaurant as my foodie daughter likes to try out as...many Michelin restaurants as possible. But the cosiness of the restaurant, the attentive but not obtusive service staff and of course the food curated by Chef Takuya.
We ordered both the Executive and Creation lunch menu to share. Chef is a master. He pairs the ingredients of all dishes very well. Seafood was fresh, unique vegetables from Japan was sourced and really superb. Attentions to details were given to each and every ingredients. Palate cleanser was great, my favorite black sesame seed bread was unforgettable ( I could eat that everday), the A4 wagyu was so good, their signature fried fish with scales was good as always, dd loves the chocolate dessert while I prefer the kumquat.
We also like the attentive and friendly service staff, Hao and Grace. We had an unforgettable day and my daughter is very thankful. Also, shout out to Wendy, who gave us a table at the Circle ro which I had forgotten to request when I book.
