The restaurant is located at Clarke Quay and serves Japanese dishes. You have Choice of lots of starters and side dishes. I decided Edameme, steamed rice, sashimi and grilled peppers. With 2 fresh Sapporo drafts it went well. They provide chopsticks, napkins and some flavour...More

At first we were a bit afraid since the restaurant was almost empty when we entered. However, the food is so nice. We ordered beef and grilled fish and very satisfied. It does look like an old restaurant but surprisingly staff is not professional. It...More

Great and palatable food i would say, especially the fish dishes .The menu offers a lot of Japanese dishes with the traditional ones included. Seating is on also in the traditional way with low tables and floor seating arrangement

Had several dinners there, and it was great every time. The menu is huge and you have many dishes to choose from. Everything I tried was excellent, highly recommended!

I am not a great lover of Japanese food but I thought the tucker here was less than ordinary, which didn't help with my opinion of Japanese cuisine. On a brighter note the served a good cocktail.

Not particularly tasty food - lukewarm gyoza, sushi didn’t feel fresh. The place didn’t seem all that clean. Nice place for a drink, but wouldn’t eat there again, there are too many decent options in the neighbourhood.

Truly Japanese setting, with tatami seating. Ordered the Surume Ika, aka grill bbq squid - tasty, tender and juicy is what I would describe. Done just right! Had the Tomo Chan-Pon, rich broth Ramen filled with vegetables and seafood ingredients - superb. A must try...More

Dropped in here expecting it to be a pricey tourist trap but it was way worse than that. Dirty furniture, dirty floor and tatty falling apart menus aswell as lack of a greeting on arrival were screaming 'run' but foolishly persevered as had a long...More
