The food quality is generally ok but for the amount of money I paid. In Pine Court, if you don't come early, unfortunately, most of the dishes are cold. The dim sum experience would be better if it is hot. I still wonder are they using too much MSG? Because I am thirsty after I had the dim-sum. Except that,... More

Its been quite awhile since I have been here. The last time I went, it was getting tired and as there are so many other exciting choices on Orchard Road, one simply did not have to waste calories here. Anyway I was invited there for lunch and was surprised at how well they had spruced up the old lady and... More

Other than the nice view, the rest are average only. Average food, average services and prices are average too. Can skip if you want.

This was a shocking error on my part. I rarely eat in Hotel restaurants unless they have a spectacular reputation and this one confirms that decision. The only reason I have not put it up on tripadvisor before is that I couldn't find it! PLEASE GET THE NAME RIGHT. We went here as it was late and we didn't want... More

Was invited for CNY dinner there a few days ago. Lohei Platter (only during CNY) was slightly unique in that they include crispy fish skin and some kind of pickled flower. We added some XO to our Lohei which toned down the sweetness of the plum sauce and dramatically enhanced the flavor of the dish. Chilli Prawns with Brocolli was... More

I love dim sum but to say they serve best dim sum in town would be overstatement. I tasted much, much yummy dim sum. The staff are very attentive to their clients andt thumb up for their egg + spinach.

There is nothing special at all about this food. If you go, go for the view only. We had the string beans with gound pork and chili and had to send this back. I have had this dish maybe 100 times and never had a dish that even looked like this. It was like the beans were from a can:... More

Locate on 35th floor of the hotel expect to get a better view, but not as good as I expected for a five star hotel. The hotel should renovate the exterior make it only glass panel so the diners could enjoy the orchard view. The service staff was attentive, it was full house during lunch time, probably because of a... More

I took advantage of a recent Groupon dining deal (paid $30 for $60 value) for Mandarin Court Restaurant, located on level 35 of Mandarin Orchard Hotel. The lift lobby to the restaurant is located at Mandarin Gallery, a shopping centre next to the hotel. This is our first dining experience at Mandarin Court and we were looking forward to enjoying... The food is quite disappointing... I'd expected the food to be more imaginative and of better quality. And it is pricey! I think there are better chinese fine dining places around Orchard Road that will give you better value for money.
