Good Singapore style food - the local made coffee and the special toast with the crusts cut off with salty butter

We had Singaporean kopi and teh here before our flight. The laksa was very delicious as the broth was very flavorful. The kaya toast was average as the toast was a little soggy.

This is a nice place to have local coffee and snacks before a flight. The kaya toast is very delicious. It is easy to get a table and the service is very fast.

January 19, 2016 - While waiting for our Tiger Airlines flight to Saigon, we looked at several restaurants at the Changi Airport Terminal. While we had numerous fast food choices like McDonald's and Burger King, the 1983 Coffee and Toast looked more interesting. We made a good decision. We suggest that you include the 1983 as one of your potential... More

We came here as we wanted to have coffee and kaya toast. During ordering, we noticed Laksa on their menu, so we decided to give it a try. It turned out to be very delicious as the broth was very creamy. However, we were disappointed with the coffee and kaya toast. The coffee was very diluted and tasted rather 'flat'.... More

Conveniently located. A place just to placate your stomach. Good if you need a light meal. They sell coffee and tea, kaya and butter toast, mee rebus and mee siam, curry noodle and laksa and other drinks. Good choices at a reasonable price.

It serves local coffee and tea, as well as some local food. The Chicken Redang (at SGD5) was quite tasty but a bit overly-priced. They also serve the local Kaya and Butter Toast but not as good as those from Ya Kun. However, it is a convenient place for a quick bite at the Changi Airport Terminal 1.

Taking a trip back to Singapore, i have tasted several stores that sell Mee Rebus; including the traditional ones sold at coffeeshop by the malay community...but i have got to praise Coffee & Toast for the awesome Mee Rebus that you are producing! The gravy is thick enough to mix it well with the yellow noodles which is not salty... More

This is a good place to get local tea and kaya toast and is conveniently located on the departures level of T1. The seating area isn't huge but we didn't have any trouble finding a place.

We just stopped for a coffee whilst seeing someone off and I decided to try the mee rebus. It was served in a paper bowl and it didnt seem exciting but it's the best mee rebus I have ever tried! The sauce was magic - piping hot and full of flavour with all the right stuff like the whole egg,... More
