Had a lovely dinner last night in 1919 Waterboat House, a charming 3 story Arte Deco annex next to the Fullerton Hotel. We went for the 3 course Singapore Dining week set menu and every dish was excellent and beautifully presented. The service was attentive without being hovering, and we had a beautiful view of the Marina Bay from the... More

We went to the restaurant later than our appointment time, however the Manager Kader still greeted us with a wide smile. As it was raining that day, we couldn't bring our baby stroller with us, he offered to help to get the stroller from the carpark at One Fullerton. However in order not to trouble him we rejected his offer... More

Good and attentive service, delicious food. We had a seat by the window which looked out at Marina Bay Sands. We were there for lunch during Singapore Restaurants Week and the meal matched our expectations.

We came up to the rooftop bar for some happy hour drinks. You get a great view of Marina Bay Sands in the background. The drinks were great!

I took my wife here for her birthday. We were a bit surprised to find only one other couple dining. The ambience was nice and food good. Drinks on the roof after dinner allowed us to take in a great view.

Went here with my wife, first for drinks on the rooftop and then meal in restaurant. Lovely views over Marina and river. We were the only people in restaurant but it didn't matter. Great service. Portion sizes are small but beautifully presented. Not an issue. We had our deserts back on roof. Lovely evening

Such a disappointing experience. The restaurant is very pretty but the staff are not trained and the food is below cafe's standards. Extremely small portion (we had to eat at home afterwards) despite ordering the menu. Prices are ridiculously high for such a poor level of service and quality. It s too bad cause the place is lovely but clearly,... More

We accidentally came here...just being curious about the sign downstairs. It totally worth to climb the few stairs to the rooftop. The view to Marina Bay is awesome ! Staff is friendly, drinks served quickly and the music is nice !

We went there to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. We grabbed a drink on the side terrace before having our meal inside. The inside decor is very nice and elegant. The staff was very attentive, they had even printed nice Happy Birthday cards for me. They were very efficient throughout the evening. The food was incredible - from the... More

the waterboathouse was built in 1919. Various historical items are displayed on tables and the walls as a connection to the history of the building and location. Entry to the restaurant is up the original staircase to the first floor, and on the rooftop directly above 1919, is the zsister establishment- The Rooftop.

The Rooftop offers a more initimate perspective on the roofttop drinking experience.
Located on the open air rooftop of the heritage listed The Fullerton Waterboat House, the prime harbourfront location presents unobstructed views across both the Singapore CBD skyline and the new developments around Marina Bay.

The menu features contemporary interpretations of European dishes-using fresh seasonal ingredients.

The Rooftop serves from a Drinks and Bar Bites menu, with the food being prepared in the kitchen of 1919 Waterboathouse Restaurant one floor below. Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
