We went for a dinner in little india expencting to find a nice, authentic indian restaurant. This restaurant was full so we thought that it must be a good one. Big mistake! The hall was crowded and very noisy, so we had hard time hearing what the waiters said to us. During the night 5 or 6 different waiters waited... More

The service was a bit rushed and not very attentive (had to ask three times to get a drink) and it wasn't busy. When the food came it was really nice and cooked well and hadn't taken long to come once I'd ordered.

We went here for a lunch. Had very nice chicken briyani. The restaurant is very clean and the staff were friendly and efficient. If you like some good Indian food in Singapore, one of the places you can definitely go to have good food and enjoy. I also took a fish head curry take away for others, which was well... More

We wandered in to Apolo after walking around Little India for some time. We were welcomed and taken to a table promptly by a friendly waiter and provided with menus. Once we had ordered our starters and main meals arrived quickly with ice cold drinks. It was our first time eating with our hands from banana leaves, although we were... More

Enjoy Delicious food between the locals (Indian people). Don't expect romantic lights and tables. But the staff is very friendly and helpful

Look, simply the best Indian food I have ever tasted, everything was superb from the starters to deserts and fresh fruit smoothies. Lost a star (and should be 2) for the rudest conversation I have ever overheard between a Maitre d and customer. By the tone and total disrespect I suspect it was a sexist/woman-hating rant towards a Singaporean Chinese... More

Being Indian and Singaporean, i am certaim, this is definitely not a place where you taste the best of Indian Cuisine. I havebeeb to far better restaurants, namely Muthus Curry, Sakunthalas, Anjappar and Gayathri. Just because there is a crowd doesnt mean the food is tasty. Feel sorry for the tourists who walk into this place expecting authentic indian taste.

We visited this place in a group of almost 20 people. We didn't have to wait long before being seated and served. The food is very good and the beers are chilled. Service was really amazing considering the placed was packed. Thumbs up to the staff. Must visit in Singapore if you crave for curries.

Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
