This place is good choice for Chilean Food and it is located in a small street with full of restaurants . Tabla del Mar and Camaron y Jaiba is my recommendations.. With these 2 courses you will try various delicious seafood. Staff is also very kind and helpful.

The hotel advised the Barrio Lastarria district for dinner. Given three restaurants to choose from our first choice was Casa Lastarria, good pick. The location is charming, outside sitting on a courtyard or sidewalk. Either case it offered us people watching for entertainment. For starters I had steak tartare, usually eaten only in France, and it was not to my... More

Loved sitting outside on the cobblestone sidewalks where we could people watch. Attentive waiter (moreso then most restaurants we visited in Santiago). They were out of the meat empanadas that I requested as an appetizer, so we settled for cheese and shrimp - not the best, but not the worst empanadas I had on the trip. Just not memorable. Husband... Lastarria Street is a great place to seek an evening meal. There are about 10 high-end restaurants to choose from. The courtyard that contains Casa Lastarria should be highly considered for at least one evening meal. If you get there by 8:30 PM, you can probably nab a table. Great people watching and atmosphere. Casa Lastarria was a good choice.... More

We were looking for a restaurant for a light dinner close to our hotel and chose to sit at one of the outdoor tables at Casa Lastarria. The food was very good - starting with the excellent shrimp empanada appetizer. Our large seafood salads and pasta entrees also satisfied and we didn't feel the meal was expensive for the location... This restaurant is one of many in a very busy and lively enclave. Nice atmosphere, friendly service, good seafood dishes and attractive wines. Acoustics are a little harsh (a lot of bare boards) with the result that the music might be a little loud for the older diner if it's too cold to eat outside.

Had lunch and dinner there last month. Nice place to eat outside at a relaxing cafe in central Santiago. Reasonable selection of tasty food and beverages. Desserts and the Pisco Sours were especially good.

On our first night in Santiago my mom and I were walking around Barrio Lastarria and we stumbled upon this place around 8:30pm and got a beautiful seat on the rooftop. Our service was excellent (which is not a common thing around Chile) and the food was served quickly and was delicious! We both had drinks, entrees and desserts and... More

We ate here at 7:30 PM on a Monday night and had no trouble getting a choice patio table which was perfect for watching the world go by this lively part of the city as we ate our dinner. The food was fresh and well prepared and everything we tried - beef carpaccio and shrimp empanadas to start, ensalada del... More
