We came across the courtyard area while in the Lasstaria district looking for somewhere to have lunch on our first day in Santiago, and selected Pez Toro, as it was a busy place that appeared very popular. We got a table on the patio area, and chose the Cazadora platter for 2 to share. The grilled stuffed trout was excellent,... More

A warm Sunday evening and we wanted something light, and to be able to relax outside and enjoy the twilight. Pez Toro fit the bill. Located off Lastarria in a courtyard with other restaurants, Pez Toro specializes in pizzas, hot sandwiches, etc. The pizza we ordered was large enough for two, and at $24 with drinks was reasonable given the... Four of us stopped by here for a nice, relaxing lunch outdoors. The wait staff was prompt and very friendly, navigating through our broken Spanish. We had: hamburger, ham and cheese sandwich, salad and calzone. All but the calzone were average, but filling. the calzone on the other hand was so good that our partners went back the next evening to... More

We weren’t sure what to expect at Pez Toro, but it was definitely worth the stop. Service was prompt and friendly, and English menus are available. We sat at a quiet table inside, since outside was a smoking section. We chose the ever-present Pisco Sour and Chorillana Toro as a starter. Chorillana Toro is French Fries with seasoned steak, cheese... More

This place is always packed, sandwiches are good. The trout with sausage and cheese was overcooked (as I have seen in other restaurants. I think the wine by the bottle is kind of expensive for some average wines-better places for wine for sure. tucked in a little alley way that with 6 other restaurants..Take your pick....the others are probably better... Went there for dinner...out of three choices of ceviche only two were available. Tasted ok...but just ok. Pasta was very good so was pizza dough wrapped in mozzarella and prosciutto a bit pricey though. Service was slow and sloppy and the worst part is waitresses taking complete advantage of non-Spanish speaking tourists knowing we won't be able to say anything... More

I ordered and received a different pizza which had a similar name but less ingredients. I didn't ask for my one as I was hungry enough. Two points. The base was crunchy so it was clear they were using a ready base, not a freshly kneaded one. This meant the pizza had no give and was like a board. Second... More

We chose it by accident as the one we wanted was overbooked. They were very kind in changing our table (the one outside was in a smoking area) so we had our meals inside. Maybe we had ordered the best of the menu, but it would have been pure luck. Our "Trilogia de Chupre" was fantastic, as it came with... More

After a movie at Biografo nearby, we stopped by to have a Pez Toro Plancha with two glasses of wine. A cabernet sauvignon and a carmenere errazuriz. Meat brochettes, a small ceviche, and other yummi treats. 22 000 clp with tip included. Nice atmosphere and was really quiet at that time

The pizza and salad we shared was very good...pizza had a nice, crisp base & just the right amount of topping. All the salads were huge & priced quite highly compared to other parts of the world - we wasted half of it. The ceviche starter was also large and while fresh & tasty, it wasn't prepared in the fine... More
