You would not pick this location as it is in a rough part of town but you can't fault the service at this place. Big place. Tvs showing sport. Jazz on the speakers. Small menu but well priced. Really nice feel about it. Not touristy at all. We were the only tourists. Had the seafood platter for 10,000. Couldn't finish... More

We were in the Old Port and were looking for a spot for lunch. Porto Viejo was a find. It's local, and away from the port views and tourist prices. Several staff spoke English and explained the menu. It was clean, tasty and full of local families (always a good sign). The food was mainly seafood, but had many meat... More

Wanted more seafood in Valpo, hence I came here for dinner, as my seafood lunch at Buenos Aires (opposite this restaurant) wasn't satisfying. Had the fish a la plancha. Was yummy. Service was incredible, the staff were very attentive and professional. Two thumbs up to the staff (Was there during dinner on March 19, just want to thank the staff... More

I stumbled upon this restaurant as it was close to my B&B. The area is a little sketchy but the food was great. I mention the area only because I am a solo female traveler and I try to be aware of my surroundings so I made sure to walk home before dark. The seafood stew was excellent and enough... More

We ate here because it was not too far from our B and B. It was just ok. Our waiter left in the middle of our meal. His shift was over. We did not really eat a meal. Just empanadas.

We eat there twice, Empanadas de marisco great, seafood stew very good, reasonable prices. One evening we have good live jazz music. Don't be cheated by moderate look and surroundings . It worth a visit.

The ambience is so-so but it's readily accessible to downtown. The service was quite good. It's hard to beat the value.

Had lunch here and it was very good from a seafood standpoint. Starter of the parmesan scallops which had great flavor - it would have been nice had they sliced the muscle so you could remove the scallop from the shell easier and intact. Followed by the seafood soup. This was suppose to include fish but didn't. I would guess... More

This the first restaurant we eat in Chile, it is quite local, so the price is not that expensive compare to the fancy ones. We were brought in by our tour guide. The seafood soup is really good. And we were told in Chile, it is not allowed to serve the raw sea food, so it should be safe to... More
