I really wanted this to be another superb restaurant. It wasn't. While other restaurant just across the street had fish making my taste buds spin in harmony, Almacen did not. The fish was dry and the clams felt as if they had been frozen before serving. What went wrong from the pasific ocean to the table? The vine selection is... More

We came upon this place on a Sunday afternoon when all the locals were out. There was live music which was quiet enough for talking in the group. the pisco sours were good (if you like them) We ordered meals that were good, not fantastic. Do not miss your chance to order "El Flambeado", a great tasting dish served on fire. Great ambiance, and a very welcoming and attentive staff.

We ordered the stuffed chicken, which tasted great, however, upon further inspection we noticed half of the bottom portion was uncooked. We, quietly, brought it to the attention of the waiter and they sent it back to... More

The service was very slow and the food was ok. I think I was expecting more Chilean traditional food or at least Chilean preparations.

Very good Chilean dishes, seafood mostly, of course. There are some neutral dishes (like pasta) for those who are not a big fan of the first option. But still, if you go there, you're going for the Chilean seafood, and that's what we had. The dishes were delicious and very well presented. Attentive staff, but not over attentive, which makes...
