We went there all the way just because we wanted to go to this place and then it was closed (at 4 in the afternoon) without any notice. Great disappointment!

We were greeted by the gracious owners of the Chocolateria and welcomed into a most delightful space. The cultivation process was explained in detail, followed by recommendations for the most delicious preparations of chocolate. Be sure to add this to your itinerary when in Quito.

Great place serving amazing chocolate drinks, sandwiches, and desserts. Located in the historic center of Quito in a cozy 160+ year old house. Within walking distance from "Basilica del Voto Nacional" church and "La Plaza Grande". Small family-ran business with very friendly staff.

Description
The restaurant will attend clients only by previous reservation. We are a chocolateria, we have the best cocoa of Ecuador, we produce and process it. We have varieties of hot chocolates, one with orange, one spicy and one 100% cocoa. We are in a patrimonial and historical house in Quito. You can visit and enjoy a beautiful view.
