First class restaurant Ecuadorian themed in an enclosed colonial Spanish patio. Gorgeous with good food and lovely service. Ecuadorian food with beautiful table settings. The breakfast was tops.

We stayed at the hotel so we had dinner there one night. We ordered a selection of small plates. All were very good and priced well. This is during the off season so the restaurant was not very busy. Compared to some other hotel restaurants in the area, this was as good or better.

The food was good, especially the seafood pasta and the staff were pleasent. Good service but wasn't impressed with the piped music that was being played throughout the meal.

The one time we ate there my steak was so tough that I could only saw off a couple of bites. I showed my wife and she couldn't even cut a piece off. I showed the waiter too and asked him to have the chef try to cut it but that didn't do any good and I was charged for... More

This was the best dining experience that we had during our week-long stay in Quito. The atmosphere is relaxed and serene during the week, and more festive (with live music) during the weekend. The service staff are extraordinarily attentive and were so willing to make modifications for my picky children. The quality of the food was excellent, with a large... More

My husband and I are pooped from our very long trip today, and we needed something good and nearby. This restaurant is inside our hotel (Hotel Patio Andaluz), so it was perfect. The setting is beautiful, the food is awesome (and there is so much of it!), and the service was kind, friendly, and helpful! I would recommend this for... More

We are at the hotel restaurant due to the Presidential speech / rally otherwise clogging the streets. It was a disappointment. We very much enjoyed the setting, but there was little about the food that we found to get excited about. In particular the beef dish was too tough to even cut. We (2 couples) agreed it was the worst... More

Marked as 2 dollar signs by tripadvisor, we found this place to be considerably more expensive than we thought. However, we decided to go with it. The food was great and we were being served very well. Staff was very friendly and the place was absolutely beautiful and full of nice art work.

We discovered Hotel Patio Andaluz as part of our escorted itinerary with Gate 1 Travel during our tour through Old Town. The entire hotel is decorated beautifully. It is only a few blocks from Plaza Grande, so its proximity to the heart of Old Town makes it a desirable location. The hotel entry leads into the very attractive and large courtyard... More

Located in the courtyard of the Hotel Patio Andaluz, we opted for an easy dinner in this pleasant environment after a late arrival at the hotel. Unfortunately, the food was a bit of a disappointment. I began with the traditional locro de papa -- potato soup with avocado and cheese -- which I would sample many times over the course... More
