This is the place to go if you're looking for the full cuy experience. Granted, this was the first and only time I've tried cuy but it was really neat. They present the cuy twice, once for pictures (think playing with food) then later prepared for consumption. The meat was moist and the skin was crispy too. Don't forget the... More

I came with a friend! The cuy is extraordinary, crispy in the outside, juicy and tender in the inside. One cuy is enough for two. The service is great, although I must say the restaurant was not full. Luciano deserves a star for his service. Make sure to call an hour before coming. The cuy is thrown into the oven... More

We enjoyed our experience of eating cuy at Kusykuy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and would happily recommend it.

I brought my family here for a fun and unique cuy-eating experience. We had a wonderful night. The cuy (guinea pig) is very good, but if this dish isn't for you then Kusikuy has many other delicious Peruvian delicacies. For example, lomo saltado and alpaca steak are also great menu options. Also, be aware the cuy takes an hour to... More

I had the pleasure of dining at Kusikuy a week or two ago while visiting Cusco. I had the Cuy al Horno, Rocoto Relleno, Aji de Gallina, Alpaca, and a Quinoa risotto. Everything was delicious!! I had heard that most of my friends who tried cuy in Peru did not care for it. However, I was told by a local... More

During our vacation in Peru, my family and I tended to use TA constantly to determine where we ate, visited, and hung our hats. It was one of our final days that we decided to visit the #7 recommended restaurant in all of Cusco. For the sake of brevity I will just quickly outline the main points from our visit... More

I have come here 3 times now during my short visit to Cusco. The food is incredible, big portions well priced. Great family service. I have had the local delicacy gunea pig, that's a taste one must Iike. The stuffed peppers is a must to taste as well as the trout.

I came here for the famous Cuy Al Horno and was not disappointed. Just know ahead of time that the dish takes an hour to cook but the experience is definitely worth it. Great, friendly service and a very tasty meal!
