They open at 5pm, nothing ready before 6pm. A lovely lady received us and we thought despite the dirty look of the place, this would be an awesome experience. The "waitress" that came to the table after was unbelievable. Chewing gum all over, filthiest clothes in Iquitos. She was smiley though. Kitchen doesn't seem to be hygienic at all. We... More

My friends and I went there for our goodbye dinner, just before leaving Iquitos. Don't get scared when you see a massive TV, it's just an element of the local culture. The restaurant looks like someone's had their front room there not long ago, just keep an open mind. It's friendly, family ran and it offers freshly cooked, typical Peruvian... More

This was the perfect place to go to have good local food. Service was quick and the food was great! We tried lagarto and another typical peruvian meal and it was quite inexpensive. The atmosphere is not fancy, but it was clean and the staff was great.

If you want great typical food from the region at good prices, this restaurant is excellent. The paiche a la parrilla was probably one of the best fish dishes I've ever eaten. The tacacho was excellent too.

We found it here and we are so glad to have visited the place. The food was so good. We had cecina with tacacho and juane de yuca. Both dishes were so good. The waiter was very sweet and fast. The chicha was delicious! Best chicha ever had! (Not super sweet like usual) Totally recommended. Don't let the decoration or... More

A local family took us here for dinner and the food was awesome. Get the Paiche (giant river fish) and Cecina and you won't be disappointed.

Not bad, however not great. The Brocheta of fish was the only flavor stand-out! I thought it over priced and the volume of the large flat-screen TV dominated the brightly lit decor...

I went there one night to have some gator. Although this restaurant may not have the best atmosphere (it feels like a diner) the food is excellent and quite inexpensive.

We just got back from eating dinner here on 7/14/2014. This place was recommended to us by our receptionist at our hostel. The server was nice and friendly and helped us pick out the 2 best fish dishes (in her opinion): The Corvina and the Tucunare. The corvina was great but the tucunare was the opposite. It was very overcooked... More
