We stopped into Canta Rana on a humid day and sat down to fresh ceviche and a cold beer--totally hit the spot. The environment feels very authentic and non-touristy. Could have eaten that meal multiple times on our trip.

This place was packed when we arrived. We took a number and waited for 45 minutes. Seems to be a very popular location among locals as well as tourests. The seating is not that great, we were seated at a table next to the kitchen that only had stools. I had waiters bumping into my elbow durring the entire meal.... More

Not only is the food wonderful, but the place has a tremendous feel to it and we were made to feel extremely welcome by the nephew of the owner. As two two "gringos" with almost no Spansh, we had everything patiently explained in a warm and friendly manner. Food could not be faulted - we largely left it in n... More
