A small place with lots of atmosphere and really good food. A short walk from our hotel, El Tambo Dos and located on La Paz avenue, even their fried parsley(?) garnish was delicious. Wait staff was attentive and very professional.

Expensive but delicious. The desserts were remarkable. 2 really good veggie mains and lots of starters. Great meat options also. Well presented, high quality food and cocktails and attentive staff. Really quirky setting

Recommended by the concierge, and they were bang on. A great little place with a small patio. The ceviche was spot on, shrimp appetizer very good, the octopus main was succulent. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Went to Saqra after having it recommended by several people, and I'm really glad I did! My group was there for lunch, so it wasn't too busy at the time. The interior is very cute, and I liked the mismatched chairs. The meal was delicious!...More

We came here after checking other trip adviser reviews. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. The restaurant lacked atmosphere, the staff were not friendly, indeed it seemed almost a chore to serve us. The venue is quirky and well positioned but the lack...More

I found that this place charges a lot for food to me that is just average. I'm also appalled by their liquor prices, for wine. They charge a $11 USD cover to bring your own wine. I ordered a risotto with octopus. But for the...More

Saqra, from the Quechua language meaning “little devil”, “naughty” or “mischief maker”. Saqra also refers to one of the characters found in the festival of the Madonna of Carmen in the village of Paucartambo, Cusco. Here, this happy little devil wins the heart of the Madonna with his childish pranks and mischief making as he dances around her playfully in the procession. These ideas inspired the creation of Saqra as a restaurant bar that offers modern Peruvian food where we reinterpret the Peruvian identity in a playful and contemporary key, conjuring up fun and colourful results. Saqra, in essence, is not really a place but a state of mind where this little devil plays a delightful host who wants that all his guests live a unique experience, where they meet again with their the inner child, sometimes long lost.
