I fell in love with this place from the minute we stepped in. Lovely courtyard amongst local trees. Lovely service and yum yum food. We tried the shirmps and quinoa. The chicamurada was a good try. The Asian twists are nice.

Eating at El Huacatay offers the opportunity to sit on the porch of a beautiful hacienda and have an exquisite dinning experience with your close friends in an intimate environment. It is just perfect. The food is a mix of local farm-to-table ingredients with a gourmet forward spin. The service is perfect with attentive staff and timely table service. The... More

This restaurant did their best to accommodate us even though we didn't have a reservation and gave us one of the best meals that we had while we were in the Sacred Valley. The food was expertly prepared and attractively served. The prices were exceedingly reasonable for the quality of the food. Ask your server for pisco recommendations. They really... More

We had a great lunch today at this restaurant that came recommended by our hotel. We were not disappointed. We sat in a cute garden setting and had fresh pasta for lunch. If you're looking for a nice spot to grab lunch in town, this place is with a try!

This is a real gem of a restaurant close that offers really nice food and atmosphere. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating but is small so you should probably book if coming at peak times (e.g. dinner). The bar was nice and seemed to have the most common types of drinks. It offered less tourist type food and seemed... More

Ate her on our first day in the Sacred Valley. Service isn't that great, but the food was exceptional. Highly recommend the blackened trout served with spicy Peruvian potato salad.

Do not hesitate to eat here. It's charming and the food is so delicious! Prices are great too. I had the pumpkin ravioli which was amazing. If we are ever in he area again we would definitely return!

Was looking for a lunch place in Urubamba and came across El Huacatay. The restaurant has a nice backyard garden feel, and we really enjoyed sitting outside for lunch under the shade. Both the drinks and food were excellent! We started with the prosciutto appetizer and then had the trout and chorizo gnocchi for our main dish. Everything was very... More

We hadn't booked but turned up and they fitted us in the lovely outside terrace. Ordered an aperitif of a pisco sour, which was one of the best tasted, but before we were halfway through our drink our starters had arrived. Similarly our main course arrived within moments of finishing our starters. Food was delicious but it would be better... More

Cozy little restaurant in Urubamba, nice option to get away from the hotel scene. Alpaca carpaccio was the highlight, rest of meal was fine but not memorable. Good service.
