The location it's good for those staying or working nearby (the World Trade Center of Montevideo and so on), but unconfortable to travel from the old city or downtown. I would not reccomend this place at all: unkind and bad prepared personnel (slowest I've ever seen in Montevideo, and that's world class slowness) and extremely bad food (me and my... More
There's a large Italian influence in Uruguay, and this restaurant reflects it, and delivers. Delicious salad. Elegant setting. Small and stylish. Even some English spoken.
My husband and I were in Montevideo for one night before traveling to Buenos Aires. Someone at the hotel recommended the restaurant and it was walking distance so we tried it. Wonderful Italian restaurant and we both had seafood. The teriyaki salmon and the fish special corvina were both wonderful. Add a bottle of wine to that and was a... More
This was our 3ed visit to this restaurant over a few years. The meats are OK .One the specialties of this italien restaurant is the lasagna which was a disgrace for this italien dish.Everything is overpriced.

This time we had risotto with shrimps, the fish of the day and gnocchi (yes it was the 29.....). The risotto perfectly cooked -croccante- with shrimps just flipped over.... More

We asked and the waitress confirmed - we had the caprese salad to start and it certainly wasn't to share!... More
Sunday nights most restaurants in Montevideo are closed, luckily this one was open, and our hotel receptionist called and made a reservation for us. After a long traveling day, it was a delight to look upon the beautiful woods and abundant glass walls, with wonderful plants and good lighting around them. The menu was interesting and we decided to try... More
The place has impeccable decorations and excellent service, the Risotto and the pasta are superb, the wine selection is very good too. A bit expensive, but they accept American Express, so we were glad to have a very nice experience.
