It's a classic place to go to in Carrasco. The food is good, the service is very good & the decoration is classical local pub. Recommended place to go with friends

It is a nice restaurant. Portions are large. Nice atmosphere. Food is good and they have Milanese trufada, a famous dish that disappeared from most of the local restaurants. Atmosphere is nice.

I made a point of visiting after reading positive TA reviews. Disappointed with the food; small portions, unimaginative menu and rather overpriced (£10 for a dry and tasteless burger). Poor wine selection. Atmosphere was dark and cosybut ,ruined by rude staff. Would not return.

Food is good, but the best of this place is the atmosphere. Sit there, relax have a couple of beers, a good chunk of meat and enjoy the bar. Reminds me Cheers TV Show from the 80´s.

Very classic restaurant located in Carrasco, is better to make reservations since the place is always full. The meat is very well prepared and the attention is very good

The place looks very nice and the food is good, but the service was very below average. Waitress was not polite and looked angry all the time, besides from forgetting to bring drinks we ordered. If you want to split a bill ask for it before you order anything, because they will claim they can't do it until you get... More

It's a fine, well decorated low light restaurant. Clyde’s is Ideal for couple nights. The menu is simple, but every plate has the same quality. It is in walking distance from several hotels placed in Carrasco. I didn't try the burger, but a lot of friends have dinned there and they all say it's great. I strongly recommend the Small... More

Clyde's was one of my favorite places while I lived in Uruguay. It's a fun place for the not so young but young of heart crowd, where you can have great beer and very good, quite eclectic food, ranging from very good pasta to the most extraordinary Chivito I ever tried. What's a Chivito? It's the classic Uruguayan sandwich, huge,... More

There´s a reason why it's been a preferred spot for over 30 years now (and going strong). Quality has it's price, at Clyde's the scene, food and location are very close to perfection. 100% recommedable!

Clydes Bar is one of the most popular bar and fast food joint in Carrasco, Montevideo. It takes some time and patience to find a place at the standup bar, which is very well atended and caters a huge assortment of drinks. All goes well until someone decides to use the mens and ladies facilities, which are a small distance... More
