My friend took me to this restaurant to celebrate the Bulgarian holiday. Really got a kick out of this restaurant. It is in the mountains and it is decorated as a hunting lodge. The food was better than most restaurants that have a show. The...More

The restaurant is located at the foothills of Mount Vitosha. Its decoration, especially with all stuffed animals and birds is a bit gaudy, too folkloric. The salads were tasty. The roasted meats I tried were nothing special. A short show outside with two firewalkers was...More

Rustic environment, right beneath the woods, awesome selection of food. The Bulgarian traditional bread was an absolute delight with their garlic sauce and spices that come with it.

After a rather bumpy ride we've enjoyed a lovey dinner 'Bulgarian style'. Perhaps not always refined yet honest and tasteful. And we did not leave hungry... Entertainment via folkloristic music and dance, and two guys walking on hot coals. Very nice experience all in all.

Definitely recommend this place-clean mountain air, little water stream and beautifully decorated. Service is friendly and speaks some English and the food is super tasty!

Though it might be regarded touristic, I would say that it is one of the few places where you can have a high quality traditional cuisine within well selected decor. Though we had simple food, it was gorgeous. Pricewise a bit over the average, but...More

I am not from this establishment, but from experience in Bulgaria I can say that most Bulgarian meals are accompanied by bread. I you choose a salad, or grilled veggies/meat you should be fine. Just learn the Bulgarian words... More
