We followed some positive reviews and ate Egur Egur the other night. The food was excellent, with welcome variants on the standard dishes in the other local restaurants. It was a busy Saturday night and the staff were rather hard pressed, but otherwise it was a good meal. Except for one, very serious drawback. The restaurant allows smoking. This was... More

Grimly looking staff, a nonspecific interior, no Armenian flair at all. More surprisingly, the menu contains just a few genuine Armenian dishes. The lavash bread is brittle, the salad with green beens and tomatoes soggy and lacking any spice. The pasta in a yogurt and butter sauce is tasty, the main dish skate (stingray) is, let's be generous, ok. However,... More

Only my husbnd could come to bulgaria and, spotting an Armenian restaurant, want to try it! We were not disappointed as we enjoyed a wonderful meal, complete with a nice Bulgarian wine. By american standards, it was extremely inexpensive. Definitely try the Armenian sausage plate and the yogurt with cucumbers, must be THE best and creamiest and thickest yogurt I've... More

Armenska Krachma Goar is located on this address. Nice food, good service, reasonable prices. It is worth visiting. Notice: Location on tripadvisor's map is wrong! Sheinovo street is 500 meters behind (eastern from) Sofia University and National library building. Atmosphere inside and music are more European. I expected more Armenian details.

I sought out this resteraunt after reading reviews. It appears promising with a nice decor and jazz/musical theme. I had chicken stuffed with smoked salmon, cheese and spinach and my partner had chicken skewered. The food was rather bland and without flavour, good service and nice music. Local beer by the bottle, however it is all about the food and... More

Part of the food was rather pre-prepared and simply been heated from a can. The salad was not very fresh. The waiter rather unattentive. They did not have local beer. Only foreign !

I ate duck with apricots; it was simply delicious. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant itself is really pleasant. There are smoking and a no smoking areas. Wine and spirits were delicious too. Try yourself! I would surely come back to this nice restaurant in my next trip to Sofia. (There is also a menu in english).
