Visited Amelie in different occasions through a week-end break in Zagreb (needless to say, it became one of our favorite stops). All cakes were good overall, with the carrot (and cinnamon) and chocolate mousse cakes standing out. Delicious! The only disappoint actually came from the Chestnut cake, as its taste was so flat it felt dull and insipid. One miss,... More

It is a small place but very picturesque, they have yummmy cakes and french tarts. In spring and summer time there is an open garden where u can sit and enyoy your coffie and cake.

I have been here on a couple of occasions, but the service was terrible every time. During the summer you wait for ages to get noticed on the outside patio and then after waiting for minimum of 10 to 15 minutes you get the wrong order and the attitude from the waiters. This happened to me and my friends a... More

Excellent service! Located in the centre of beautiful Zagreb, small but very nice environment. We tried different cakes but cheesecake is No.1.

I had a chocolate mousse cake which was OK'ish but didn't blow me away - and since I eat chocolate cakes basically anywhere I go, I tend to consider myself an expert on it. The music inside was too loud, probably not to let the clientele relax too much and overstay. For a non-coffee drinker - very limited or rather... More

I often come to Amelie for dessert, as it's located just beside my favourite pizzeria in Zagreb (Duksa, if anyone asking :)) After great pizza, Amelie's cakes are not on that level of quality. Although quality of ingredients is great, taste is not up to par with Torte i to or Mak na konac. On the other hand, they have... More

We went to Amelie based off a number of reviews and for us it was hit and miss. The blueberry macarons were AMAZING! The best I've ever had and tasted almost as if they were filled with ice cream it was so luscious. We also tried a separate flavor which doesn't even come to mind but clearly wasn't memorable. The...
