We had a very pleasant dinner at Stari Fijaker 900. The room is decorated with traditional table clothes and very comfortable chairs. The menu was a bit confusing at first, but we ultimately settled on some dishes with the help of the waiter. First, my wife was starved for salad and got a very good small mixed green salad. I... The inside of the restaurant will get you the feeling of the Zagreb as it was 100 years ago. The waiters are on their way to be professional. The food is average. If youre looking for something traditional, check the meal "Purica s mlincima".

We stopped in for some Croatian food. What a let down! The service was cold. The lamb soup was lacking substance and flavor. A side salad was literally swimming in water. The Veal and vegetables turned out to be three small slices of boiled veal, a small portion of boiled cabbage, soggy and over cooked carrots and two small, (I... More

We were a group of friends for lunch, ordered rissoto and goulash. The service was a little bit off, ambience low key, with old furniture - on the other hand, the courses were good and were satisfied overall. Would go back for lunch, just ok.

We had a really good meal in restaurant Stari Fijaker in Zagreb. The portions are huge and prices are fair. The menu consist mostly of genuine Croatian continental food. As Croatian I can only say that their sarma, buncek and blood sausage taste as if made at home with love for cooking. If you like to try local food, I... More

I was adviced by a local about this restaurant, because I wanted to eat something with local flavor and I did!! I ordered a cobanac, it was absolutely delicious!, local beer and fresh bread with butter (95 Kunas). At the restaurant there was another tourist besides me and the rest were locals, which gave me definitely a good indication that... More

A good place to go to taste the traditional dishes of Zagreb in a nice atmosphere. Service is professional, prices very reasonable. And menu typical with some good specialities. Don't expect a huge menu. Limited but good quality.

I got here by chance, as all of the restaurants I had on my list were fully booked (it was Saturday afternoon). I got a recommendation from one of the locals and I didn't regreat as I was starving. The interior is dark but but cozy. It felt like oneof these 'old school' restaurants. This is not the fanciest restaurant in... More
