Nice small restaurant in German style and with authentic German food. I had the schnitzel with Swiss cheese and bratkartoffeln and it tasted really good.

Easily my favorite place in Bucharest. I was trying to avoid going back to Old Town for dinner so I decided to head here. Absolutely fantastic meal, staff, & restaurant. Beer selection was great as well. Food was so good I ended up going back there for my second night as well. They've got an amazing German/Austrian menu and wish... More

The place itself is a little bit hidden but it is worth the discovery. Traditional German food, schnaps and beer. For all of you who miss a good "wurst" and want to feel "at home". The only minus I could find is that the prices are a bit high, 6-7 € for some sausages, no sides included!

The restaurant had a traditional German atmosphere The service was excellent and quick The food wasn't that great....my pork ribs were dry, salty and crispy However the onion soup and viennese Schnitzel were good The Apple Strudel was also disappointing

I was getting bored of eating out in the same fav places just when I red about Detsche Kneipe. Seemed like way to many people left here satisfied so...let's do it. Pros: - small, intimate place with cozy garden - great staff, the waiter not only took our order but he was telling us the story behing each dish -... More

Tried this small but super awesome Kneipe from TripAdvisor! It turned out it never failed me! Really really nice German style pork knuckle and authentic German beer! Can not wait to come back again in the near future! By the way, the owner and staff there are super nice too! Enjoy your experience over there!

We was in the garden: a refreshing place for a summer evening. There are no enough varieties of beers and no german wines. The food was well cooked. We tried garlic chicken, ribs, sausages. In the menu there are only two deserts: apple strudel and ice cream.
