The food is good. Many options on the menu were missing though (dessert, Indian beer among others). Portions are small - unlike large Romanian portions. Good service. Musing was too loud at some point. Spotted a rat trap in the bathroom in a visible place - not so nice...

On Friday 5 May, the BT Curry Club took a trip to Kumar's Agra Palace on Strada Alexandra Moruzzi Voievod. This was the first time the club had visited the restaurant since it moved to this location. The location is a little off the beaten track, but the restaurant is really nicely decorated and very welcoming. On arrival we ordered... More

My experience in the past with Indian restaurants in Bucharest has been very disappointing and predictable. I still ventured here because the menu seemed a bit more interesting. However, it was deceiving. The décor is garish to the point of being unbearable. There was just one waitresses handling multiple tables. I wonder if she was even doing the cooking because... More

We like Indian food, so when we traveled to Bucharest, we found this restaurant on the Internet and we decided to try it. The food was so good, that we went to eat there the following day too. The prices are not low, especially bread is expensive and it comes in pretty small portions, but everything was very good! The... More

The restaurant is slightly quirky in its decor, not quite what an Englishman would expect, that being said the staff welcomed us to a table and were very pleasant and attentive. The meal when it arrived was well presented and on tasting proved to be excellent, my choice of Murgh Vindaloo was just as I expected, rich and hot. We... More

Lots of smoke and smell inside. The clay owen chicken not cooked, and then totally burned. The other chicken and the lamb dishes unnaturally smoked. The spices had nothing to do with the recipe. Appetizers were ok. Overall bad impression...

The place is one of the most appreciated indian places in Bucharest and for the right reason. They really know how to spice the food as in the native restaurants do but you can also find "normal" dishes for the rest of us :) Good place for a romantic dinner but also for a group evening out. Little to no... More

We were there with some vouchers. Even tough we did pay a lot, for 6 people, almost 100E for everything. Food was good, nothing special, in my opinion. Serving was very bad (something normal for Romania), like 3-4 hours for 3 dishes.

The food is ok, but not to die for. Overall for 1 person you will pay about 70ron (15e) for a main dish, rice and a drink. I think a good part of the money go for the rent given the central location. However the food isn't exceptional and could be less pricey. The ice cream is very good indeed.... More
