Hummus, forshmak, gefilte fish and lots of other meals of Jewish cuisine. All adopted by Ukraine and prepared in a perfect way. Quite cheap and absolutely unforgettable. Just try!!))

Good food and excellent service. On top of that, the staff invited the guests to celebrate Rosh Hashana, serving the challah, honey etc to each table, and asking us to light the candles, say the blessing and blow the Shofar. A very moving moment. Afterwards we were entertained by two musicians playing Klezmer music. The restaurant is in a basement,... More

Bad experience at this Jewish restaurant. The terrace is nice, but apart from that, there is no other perk! The food is nothing special and has rather no taste at all, the sauce of the veal being of poor quality. It was written on the menu a quantity of 250g, the real portion without the sauce is much more less!... More

Waitress was friendly, but food was boring and wine chosen was not available, even though the wine menu is not that long. Cimes tries to deliver some traditional surrounding, but did not work for me, at all. Prices are not justified by the quality delivered.

I was here with a group of 12 people. Everyone was very happy with the food, especially the soups and appetizer spreads. I will be back to try other food!

I had a couple of dished there. Can't remember what I had but I thought this place was good but not great. They had a duo playing some jewish music. I might return if I were in Kiev.

After our first visit to Comes several years ago we had a vague feeling that we missed something. Our second visit yesterday brought the clear answer: the colorful presentation of the food on the menus is much better than the food itself. The food is quite average , the service is ok, the atmosphere and location are good.

I am a huge fan of good Ashkenazi food. I have tried restaurants in New York, Paris, tel aviv, buenos aires and many more, searching for my grandmother's cusine. I almost gave up untill i found this restaurant. I see myself comming to Kiev just to eat in this restaurant.

Take the word of a Jewish Israeli, this place would not survive even a day in Tel Aviv. Terrible, terrible, terrible!!!!

We decided to give this place a go on a recent trip to Kiev based on recommendations from people we know - it was a mistake from the outset. The table itself was pretty dirty although It probably had been wiped the same day though much earlier. Place has been described as homely although I would say dingy was a... More
