After visiting Marte museum, we decided to have lunch in this place, it was elegant and the staff was really friendly. My two sons had two different pasta dishes and I shared a panini sandwich with my husband, my sons kept on raving about their pasta, I tried their dish and it was a great tasting pasta. I love their... More

Their location is prime. The cocktails are good and their food is excellent. Try the the fried octopus if you enjoy seafood. Good selection of wines.

I used to go very often to Punto when in San Salvador. It had been quite a while since I had been there, however, last night I had dinner at Punto and it was outstanding as in the past. I had a delicious Gnocci al Pomodoro with a plate of prosciuto and cheese as an appetizer. They have a nice... More

We really enjoy going to Punto. It's in a secluded spot next to the MARTE Museum and opposite to Teatro Presidente. Their dishes are delicate, eclectic and the menu is diverse.

This restaurant is tucked away in the Museum of Art, but it is a jewel to be discovered by foodies. The atmosphere is white table cloth, and quiet. It seems like people only learn about Punto via word of mouth. The service is excellent, and the food was a delight. I have been here twice in three days, it is... More

I used other reviews to decide where to go. Punto was so low in the ratings that I over looked it until someone recommended it to my local girlfriend. After checking also with the concierge at the Crown Plaza we decided to give it a try. Not dissaponted at all, good atmosphere, good food, great service, and good wine. It... More

Great food ranging from sandwiches to full main courses. Everything is very good and the staff is excellent. Leave space for dessert, the chocolate tart is to die for!

I went there for lunch, and for appetizers, had the toast with brie, tomato and avocado -- delicious!!! For my main course, I had the chicken breast with cilantro sauce, also very tasty! The atmosphere was also very nice and elegant, perfect for a business lunch.

Punto is my favorite restaurant in San Salvador and I always take new people there for dinner. I have never had a bad experience or a bad meal. The tomato dip is a favorite and a great starter to share. The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere sophisticated. Try it and you will not be disappointed.

Love Punto Restaurant! So far there is nothing I have tried there which I had not liked. Very good location. It is adjacent to a Museum and the Sheraton Presidente Hotel in Colonia San Benito.

Description
2243 6706This is WONDERFUL resturant that I always take American clients to when they are in town. They are one of the best in San Salvador and are located in the same building as the Museum MARTA but operates different hours and open to the public.
