Yeah the food is good, but its hard to enjoy it when you know you are paying 50-75 dollars just for your own plate. So it better be good. I guess if you have the money, and dont care how much you pay for dinner as long as its good, this might be the place for you. But for me,... More

This is a place for people that don't care what they pay for a good meal. They don't even have the prices in the menu. But the food and the service are excellent.

San Juan de la Selva is a place with a warm, original ambiance, consistently good food and good service. The pepper steak, duck breast, rib eye and salmon are always excellent. When the products are in season, try the river shrimp ( an amazing fresh water giant crayfish) and anything made with the pitahaya (Dragon fruit). The food will be... More

I went here to celebrate, and I was really disappointed, the prices are really expensive, we paid like $200 dollars for a dish of lobster and one of shrimps! That's way too expensive! Is not worth it!

I was hoping for a fine dining experience so I went here and... well, we got off to a rough start. We were the only table, but after I asked for the menu repeatedly to no avail, I finally got up and got the menu on my own. After that it went fine. Didn't take too long to get our... More

At the entrance there is a large cage with 2 panthers. They have a huge grill outside and cook delicious food. Reminds me of Carnivores in Nairobi, Kenya.

Nearly everything on the menu is delicious, you wont regret it, but your wallet will! I suggest the pepper steak, river shrimp, salmon carpaccio, the duck breast, and the oven-baked brie.

The atmosphere is very nice and service excellent. The food was wonderful, a different level than you normally find in Managua. An added bonus is the puma and jaguar outside the restaurant. We were very pleased with or meal here, however it is probably the most expensive restaurant I have eaten in in Nicaragua, but nice for a special occasion.... More

very nice restaurant, decorated very beautiful with a nice mix of tastes. there isn't really a menu to order from, so just trust them chef's(they won't be wrong). the lighting is very good as well, most all the food is cooked on a huge grill that's outside and in the entrance is a very large cage with two panthers. very...
