Went here with some friends for valentine's dinner it was very good although they raised there prices for the night by 2$ per entry and charged for your side dish , wife was happy with the rise. Wine is still good value here $20 for a nice bottle.

We wanted to have tapas, the traditional small dishes one shares, instead of larger dishes for lunch. We chose five items from the appetizer "entradas" menu: roasted red peppers "Che", asparagus with roasted garlic and shaved parmesan, baked provolone cheese served with crackers, pan (bread) espanol, and a baked portobello mushroom. This lovely lunch was complimented nicely with a "jarra"... More

You are always a little worried when you show up at a recommended restaurant and you are the only ones there. But initial fears were unfounded, we were just early for what was a delicious meal that started with grilled octopus and roasted bell peppers. Fish, pork, pasta or chicken, each dish was superbly prepared and plated. The Spanish ambiance... More

I have definitely had better ox tail but something about eating it in a very rustic old city makes it taste just right. Love this little quaint joint in the Casco Antiguo.

We live six months of the year in Casco Viejo and have eaten at most of the restaurants in our neighborhood . Mostaza is our favorite. The service is exemplary, the ambiance cozy and romantic at the same time and the food is fantastic. We always get the portobello mushroom in garlic sauce as an appetizer. The beef and seafood... One of the traditional restaurants in Casco Viejo, the Old City , with live music on the weekends, great food, different types of fishes, and a variety of vegetables in deifferent styles, international dishes, and a nice terrace in front of the place to seat when the weather is not rainy.

Walking by this restaurant several times, it looked like a quiet peaceful place to have a nice meal. And, in the evenings, Mostaza sets up tables outside - across the street in front of the Convento de Santo Domingo. Indeed, the restaurant is elegant inside - and I enjoyed my gin martini, and the ceviche appetizer very much. My friend... More

We stumbled on Mostaza on a late Monday evening in the old city after finding two or three other places closed. Set across from a beautiful old church with outdoor seating (which we learned belonged to Mostaza), the small gem of a restaurant was a welcome find. The service was warm and friendly and we had a great meal -... More

Skip the Americanized restaurants and head to this intimate, charming restaurant with a mouth-watering and reasonably priced menu full of succulent meats, seafood and even pasta dishes. A popular favorite with locals (always a good sign) and gracious service. We were lucky enough to be there on a night featuring live entertainment with a beautiful vocalist which was a welcome... Had a delicious meal at this small restaurant this week. Prawns in a cream sauce; excellent roasted mushrooms, tuna carpacio. A really good meal. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful. The food came quickly and correctly. Its more of a small family style restaurant but one worth visiting in Panama City.
