Visited this restaurant twice, it is not as busy as the other Lebanese restaurant close by. Mezze offerings were tasty, served with hot pita bread. Shish taouk was fine and the shish kebab was tender and juicy. Service was ok, food did take a while, even though restaurant was fairly empty at the times we visited.

I worked in the Middle East for eight years, so I know good regional food when I get it. Every dish we've ever eaten here has been excellent. What makes it extra enjoyable is the fantastic interior design; dine in an ambiance that makes you feel like you're living 1001 Arabian Nights. Add to that excellent belly dancing and it's... More

It is rare for me to give 5 stars across the board, but Al Basha deserves it. First impression is that this restaurant looks great. The decoration, seating, air conditioning and ventilation are great. With the nargilas lit up there was no overhanging smoke whatsoever. No residual smoke small either upon entering. The temperature was perfect also. The service exemplary!... More

We want tonight with a friend who suggested it. We have always enjoyed Beirut but tonight was even better. We had the sampler with everything included such as hummus, fatouche, kibbitz, etc. The service was good and the atmosphere relaxed. I highly recommend.

This is for the location in Buena Vista. Place empty at 7:30pm on a Tuesday night. Little English. Wine choice is red and white. Just ok, have had much better Lebanese food. At least the Kabobs weren't Hezbollah ones as they didn't blow up in our face. Rice dry as the Sahara. Didn't dare order dessert nor coffee. My mistake... More

This was our first experience Lebanese food. The waitress didn't speak English but we had no trouble getting her to understand that we wanted to try some native foods. Her recommendation of a sampler was a perfect introduction. There were several different types of hummus and some other dishes that came out first with hot fluffy pitas. She took pleasure... More

There's nothing better but great food and friendly staff. Knowing we didn't speak Spanish, the server sent over another server who was fluent in English without us even asking. Even though we didn't need her help that much, we appreciated the offer and beer recommendation. I had a falafel and hummus plate that came with hot pita bread. The falafel... More

We ate here on our first evening in Panama (July 24) and 7 days later, I can say this was the very best food of our entire trip. The wait staff does not speak English, but they were very kind and friendly and we got by with just the few tourist phrases I had learned (thank you google!), plus some... More
