The chips were fresh but we had to order a basket . . . the queso fundido was particularly good. Margaritas were good and the prices were low. We'd visit again.

This place is extremely popular. We were there Saturday evening and it was packed. There was many people serving but they couldn't keep up. Our carne fajitas were very good and they didn't overload the plates with rice and refried beans like Mexican restuarants in the States. The portion was just right. The corn tortillas were excellent.

One of the best in Panama. Tortillas are really good. Since the one in the end of Calle 50 is smaller, they do offer quicker service than the one in San Francisco. When we want to try authentic mexican flavor, we visit el Charro Mexicano. The one in San Francisco offer more parkings than the one in Calle 50.

I had big expectations about this place but it was disappointing - My only recommendation would be the margaritas (big as many of their dishes). Regarding the dishes, we ordered tacos but the tortillas tasted like colombian arepas (nothing wrong with arepas, I like them but is not the same kind of tortillas). If you go, the nachos are big... Like most restaurants in Panama, the service is slow, but the staff is super friendly. The guacamole made at your table is the best I've had. The portions are big and tasty. I kept half of my enchilada dish and ate it the next day. We stayed across the street in an apartment at the Pacific View, and we walked... More

Fun, busy neighborhood restaurant, we went to Charro on a Friday night and it was packed but we were able to get a table right away. The atmosphere is fast paced and lively, there were lots of groups celebrating birthdays and such. The service was average, we had 3 different waiters so we were a little confused. Our margaritas were... More

If you are sharing, one of the best things to order here is the mixed Nachos, it's hearty and abundant and a good value. They have plenty of other options, ranging from tortilla soup to enchiladas and burritos, as well as the traditional tacos al pastor. They also offer horchata, and Mexican beers and Margaritas. A good place to get... More

Disapointed in Panama. I think in the end all these mexican restaruants cater to the mexican knowledge of the people which is bad . I am from california and will keep looking in Panama for somebody to do it right! If you want meat , cheese and torrilla piled together than you will like it.

If you like mexican food, this is a good place to visit. The food is good and you have a lot of dishes to choose from. Depending on how crowded it is, the service will be fast to a moderate speed. The only problem with this restaurant is the small parking place, we had to park somewhere eles in order... More

This is not a bad place to eat but you have to take in consideration that this is not a real mexican style place. Nachos are awesome as well as the Queso Fundido but tacos are not really like in Mexico but lets be honest, there is just Mordida de Burro in the city with that kind of flavor.
