Dinner for two adults. Service was prompt and friendly, no issues there. Good explanation of dishes, although very limited beer selection. Can't speak to wine selection. The Agnolotti was exceptional. Beautifully presented, perfectly cooked and seasoned. A winner by any standards. The Pulpo a la brasa was terrible. The pieces of octopus tentacle were much too thick for the preparation,... More

This restaurant in our hotel was touted as the best brunch in Panama City. It is the WORST! My husband ordered a hamburger and I ordered pizza. The pizza was raw and the hamburger terrible. The service was as bad as the food.

We had one dinner, and two lunches at this nice restaurant in the Bristol Hotel. Service was very good, both prompt and attentive. The decor in the bar area was distinctive, with dozens of Panama hats suspended on the ceiling. Wine selection was somewhat limited, but the ones I tried were surprisingly good, and were served in very nice quality... More

As we stayed at the Bristol Hotel attached to this restaurant, we ate there for a late lunch, an early dinner and visited the bar all on separate occasions. The staff is attentive, professional and the manager speaks excellent English. Reservations are suggested but we were easily accommodated without one. The food was delicious (I had a brioche crusted sea... More

We enjoyed our first dinner here. My wife at excellent pasta and I had a great chicken soup appetizer. I had good veal cheeks and my wife's meal was good too. We also had hamburgers for lunch here one day as we had been told they were the best burgers in Panama city. We tempted fate and ate dinner here... More

Relatively expensive and not exactly amazing. Service is good and friendly, but the food is distinctly average. Nothing wrong but nothing that stands out either

The restaurant decoration has nothing to do with the famous "Salsipuedes" street. The space between tables is excellent. The service was also good. The food however, is expensive for what you get. there was no taste on several dishes. For the price and location much more was expected. We will not go back to this restaurant or recommend it.

Had fixed menu for Christmas but were flexible with me since I don't eat meat. They replace the meat with a delicious fish...

Late night stopped in for starters. Had the ceviche with coconut based sauce. It really didn't taste that good just ok. The cod cakes were definitely very very good. Balboa beer helped. Great atmosphere Staff was very helpful, polite and attentive

Local dishes with a modern twist. Comfort food but in small plates. Impeccable presentation. Fresh deliveries " no it was not orange season, too sour". Run there for lunch or dinner!

Savor the essence of authentic Panama at Salsipuedes Restaurant, the marvelous new restaurant located within Bristol Panama hotel. Under the direction of renowned Executive Chef Cuquita Arias de Calvo, Salsipuedes offers a rich showcase of gourmet Panamanian cuisine. The restaurant’s name honors Panama City’s legendary - and sometimes notorious -Salsipuedes Street, which has been a city landmark since 1671. Today, up and down the street, you can find Chinese and Panamanian merchants offering handmade crafts, Panamanian clothing, montunos, hats, books, magazines, school supplies, articles, Jewelry, vegetables, fruits, dishes, pots, pans, medicinal plants, teapots, among other items. In this regard, Salsipuedes Street and Salsipuedes Panama City Restaurant share several traits. Each celebrates the spirit of the Panamanian culture and is as cheerful and spicy as the people themselves.
