We were in Panama City on business and decided to try Manolo Caracol based on the recommendation from one of the people in our party. The Uber driver had a little trouble finding it but we were glad he did. It was a Monday night so we were told we would not need a reservation, when we arrived, around 7,... More

It is the typical place they tell you to go. My guess is because it was the only thing there before! Noisy, lousy service and the food, you got to eat whatever is cooked that night, tough luck if you dont like it.

We had the exquisite pleasure of dining at Manolo Caracol the a couple of nights before Carnival began. We are so very glad that we had this opportunity. The Tapitas menu was beautifully plated, fresh seasonal foods served esthetically on beautiful slate boards from well trained, friendly and helpful servers. We had a lovely conversation earlier that day with the... More

This restaurant is closed permanently. We were informed of this by one of the local tour guides. We were disappointed to hear this as we were looking forward to trying it, but our next choice was even better.

One of the finest tasting menu restaurants I've been to. I just love to be somewhere not knowing the dish coming next and being absolutely surprised by the way the chef thought the menu through. A must go to in Panamá. Requires reservation.

This place appears to be permanently closed. Tried to Meade reservations on website, which seemed to be allowed, but the place was dark and deserted when we arrived.

We had an absolutely lovely family dinner (kids aged 6 and 8) at Manolo Carocol. We wandered in after vaguely recalling seeing a good review on tripadvisor. I hadn't remembered that it was an 8-course tasting menu and thought that might be a problem for the kids. Quite the contrary! They put together a plate for kids that was virtually... More

Our group of mission participants eats here our final night every year. The food is always unique, fresh and delicious. This year the plates seemed to be extra generous and all 20 of us went away more than satisfied. As there was one member of our group with a fish/seafood allergy the staff was more than happy to prepare separate... More

...to visit Panama City. A little over the top - yes! But the meal and service was wonderful. The menu was inventive and diverse.

Manolo was recommend by our tour guide as a good option in old town as they use seasonal local ingredients. We thought it was worth a try so we made reservations as suggested. We made reservations for 6pm and by the time we left 8:30 ( the dining experience takes about 2.5 hours) there were only 8 other people in... More
