Need I say more? They make the best cookies and cakes, period. If you are in doubt go to their web site, pick the cakes tab and scroll to the bottom.

I had Lakota's cookies many many times and each time it tasted the same and it is the best cookies. I buy Lakota cookies for X'mas gifts.

It's all true! Yummy butter cookies. Seasonal designs if you want. Flowers, sports, holidays, politics. (They even designed cookies for the Women's March!) Exquisite macaroons and fancy "Almond Joy" and "Triple Sec" delights. Old fashioned choices including oatmeal and peanut butter, too. They supply other yummy establishments - like Darwin's - with them as well. Fun to spot Lakota creations... More

My wife and I love their chocolate-dipped almond macaroons. Ironically, we never go to our dentist (who is a few doors away) without getting some. We've also gone just for the cookies, though it's 15 minutes from our house. I'm sure their other cookies are excellent too, but we never get past the macaroons.

This is a tradition. The cookies make great easter basket gifts - and gifts for the adults we know. Everyone loves them. They are really, really good cookies. They have been known to go on overseas travel for service men stationed abroad.

Better than a box of chocolates or a bottle of wine as a house gift. Bring dessert to a dinner party. Hard to make a d vision they are all so scrumptious.

Lakota cookies are my go-to gift to say thank you to nurses who cared for a family member, for my team at the office, teachers, or others who deserve a treat. They're consistently a big hit.

You can find their cookies in stores all around Boston, but if you're in the area, go to the source.

I've been buying Lakota cookies since before the store opened. I have a friend who is an exquisite baker and she bought them for her daughter's wedding celebration. Aside from being delicious, they are shaped specifically for each season and for different holidays. Shortbread Christmas trees, Halloween jack o lanterns, Easter bunnies, summer ice cream cones---just to name a few.... More
