The atmosphere was great. It was dimly lit and a small restaurant. I had the bolognese and I wasn't impressed. I spent a ton on just pasta with meat.

Owned and run by John Keane who also runs Town (same kitchen!) and Kitty Murtaghs. We have been going to Queequegs for years. Very small and intimate. Limited, but good menu. Great friendly service. We live on Nantucket so we are spoiled with good restaurants, but this is good value and consistently fun. Not fancy, just a good spot for... More
We came here for dinner on the recommendation of the B&B owner where we stayed. It is a small restaurant in an unassuming building behind the Atheneum. The food is excellent. I had the Pan Seared Scoallops with parsnip puree, oxtail, and crispy potato. It was very good. My husband had the Smoked Fish Pie which had a nice puff... More
Although I would expect nothing less from John, this is a place to return many times: From the fresh air outdoor seating to the exquisitely food not to omit the expertise of the bartender, this is a place where one can return MANY times [as we have!]
It was cold outside and I was exhausted after a long travel day! It happened to be Spring Break so thank heavens Queequegs was open! It is a warm and cozy environment with friendly staff. I had their Bolognese and it was wonderful!!! So different from the norm and delicious! I'll definitely go back!
My wife and I went there during this past Thanksgiving weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I had the Nantucket Bay scallop special and she had the fish pie. We both thought they were outstanding. Very nice atmosphere with a small, quaint bar area. Service was good as well. Tito's and tonics were superb and the wine list very... More

They don't have steak sauce, and for good reason: you definitely don't need it. The steak was so deliciously seasoned you don't need to add anything to it.
My boyfriend and I had dinner elsewhere, but wanted another drink so we stopped in here and sat at the bar. The place was almost empty, so the staff was talking amongst themselves as we sat and enjoyed our drinks (and each other's company). The bartender was very friendly and checked in on occasion, but mostly left us along which... More
