I came to Toko Baru on my last night in Guatemala after a long hike up Pacaya and running around town doing some last minute errands. I had heard great things about this place and was really craving non-latin food so the Chicken Tiki Marsala really hit the spot. It was the perfect balance of savory deliciousness and vegetables. Definitely... More

Great vegetarian options. I went there twice and had a half portion of the kofta balls with coconut rice - such good value, and the serving was plenty for me. The sauces that come with the meals are amazing!

Two of us came for dinner Saturday night and loved it. Really chilled vibe and staff to match. The food delivery and orders were efficient. The food was delicious [falafals, korma, and an Indonesian curry] and well-priced. All in all, couldn't have asked for a better setup.

Its sad that we found the restaurant at our last day, but we had lunch and dinner and both were amazing. The byside salsas itself make it worth is to try the restaurant. Its a must for everybody who likes good (indian) food. We loved that restaurant (not only because they have german bears). Perfect place!!!

We've been coming to Antigua Guatemala for many years. We eat at Toko Baru for lunch a couple of times a week. Portions are generous, the sauces very tasty. Good vegetarian choices. Try the sweet potato fries! The owner hails from the Netherlands and usually serves as the waiter, so the atmosphere is friendly. He has a good selection of... More

I visited this place a few times during my stay in Antigua. My favourite was a the falafel which is a full meal and comes with a variety of sauces. Great food, great service at a greta price. The curries are also great as well and change daily. I'd highly recommend this over some of the bland more expensive places... More

This place was like an oasis within the desert of severely lacking veg/vegan options that had been central america for me up until this point. We went nearly every day we were in Antigua, and probably would have went more if we didn't believe we should give other places a try. I am all about variety and trying new things... More

No need to say more. Ok it looks like I have to say more. The schwarma was huge, tasty and well priced. Also came with three delicious sauces!

We shared two great meals here, chicken tikka masala and chicken madras. Both came with fresh spinach and salad, in great portions and generally felt very good quality. If we were staying longer, we would have returned. Each curry worked out around £3.20 each, a complete bargain especially compared with other restaurants in Antigua. Should be higher up the list...
