We were looking for traditional food, and we found it in abundance here. The menu is wide and varied, and as everything is so affordable we were able to order a good selection. It’s hard to pick a favorite between the fried dumplings and cheese, the stuffed cabbage rolls, and the meat and pepper stew. Great experience all round.

Typical place on the main street of Bihac. Access is not immediate because there is a bar in front, but upon entering the hotel there is a restaurant sign and you have to climb a staircase. We find ourselves in a typical tavern with checkered tablecloths. The environment is welcoming and the food very good. We took a plate of mixed meat for 2, but 3 of us ate it (2 adults and a little girl) and we left a lot of chips and pita because we were full. The meat (halal) was excellent, tender and juicy. Friendly staff and good prices (meat plate for 2, 1 beer and 2 drinks 20 euros). Advised

Great wine, food & service! Meat was tender, spätzle was perfect, Ćevapi pita bread delicious. We’ve been to the 1st & 3rd ranked restaurants in Bihać but Sofra should be ranked #1 in my option. This is our first trip to Bosnia-Herzegovina & a pleasure to find this restaurant. Great upstairs space in the city center, not too fancy, homey, nice mellow atmosphere. Thank you ~ good luck!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Bosnian restaurant that truly exceeded expectations. We ordered four distinct dishes, each one just as fabulous as the last. The meat was incredibly tender, the sauces were rich and flavorful, and the dishes felt complete and satisfying. It's exciting to finally have a Bosnian restaurant that is worth the detour. I highly recommend it—come in numbers!

This place is worth seeking out for delicious Balkan food that even has something for vegetarians like me, but will please lovers of all things čevap. I loved the Bosnian fried bread that reminded me of beignets. Relaxed service so you can take your time and enjoy. We also had breakfast here the next day as we were staying at the hotel on the ground floor.

The ambiance and service only added to the dining experience. The food was delicious and offered excellent options for traditional Bosnian food. The server recommended a few dishes which all turned out to be fantastic. It was nice to see both locals and tourists selecting this restaurant. The beef and chicken was extremely tender and, well, everything tastes better with butter!

In the restaurant, we had lunch, consisting of ćevapčiči with kajmak and a salad with kajmak, accompanied by lepinja. The meat was dry, tasteless, and overly cooked. The lepinja was greasy, in short, not tasty.

The food was so tasty. Real, traditional Bosnian cuisine. The service was great, waiter was helpful and kind.
Great place if you are very hungry. We had also dessert, but we ate it too fast to take the picture 😁

Well this is one of my favourite places in Bihać. This is basically one of the restaurants that offers traditional Bosnian cuisine with quality ingredients. If this is your first time in Bihac, or you just are passing by i highly recommend you to visit this place. This time I was just craving for ćevapi and this is the best place to have them. A bit tricky to find this restaurant... The food is simply delicious. Funny to see people still smoke in the restaurant (don't worry the ventilation is good). Sweets: go for baklava, is excelent.

Delicious “Speciality of the House” (various meats with rice and mushrooms) and no less good Čevapi.
We also liked the spreads (cream/garlic and tomato/pepper). Good Apfelstrudel.
Nice service, too.
A pity though that they apparently are still allowed to smoke in the restaurants...
