Food is good, tasty and affordable for packbackers. It is located in the middle of the city centre and easy to find.

Simple Indian/Nepali food with right mix of spices at affordable price. Multiple options of Nepali, South Indian and North Indian food with specaility vegetarian dishes. A good place for regular visit.

Vegetarian menu with limited options but good and with a fair price. I ordered for 2500 kyat chapati with rice soup and different vegetarian curries. Staff is very friendly. I would repeat :)

Nepali offers a very limited menu, which is completely vegetarian. The thali was particularly tasty. It's essentially all you can eat as the staff keep topping up your food! I ate until I was fit to burst! Amazing value for only £1.50! The downside was that some of the top ups of food were cold. The staff were really good... More

This is a small place, only about five tables, a bit hard to find even tho right on 81st street between 26th & 27th. I met the owner, a young, cool tatotoed guy who spoke English well. He and his family live upstairs and it's definitely home cooking. Most dishes are less than $2.50.

Fantastic food....we try and eat in different places when we go somewhere new but the food here was so so good we kept going back. I had the thali and each time it was different and so yummy!!! Lovely little restaurant, real basic. Highly recommend.

Normal good food from Nepal or North India. Nothing special, but tasty and nice. Would return for sure.

The menu in NVC is pretty limited, so we ordered Thalis and a Potato Paratha, and Lassi, Masala and Ginger tea to finish off. The Thali had Chapatti, a Pumpkin curry, Potato Curry, a couple of Dals, and Rice. The portions were good though the food itself was not very hot. The teas and lassis just about passed muster. The... I came here because it was close to my hotel, I was hungry and this place is vegetarian. But... it was very dirty (too dirty), there were only children working inside (and none spoke English). Finally the mother joined them and we could order. The food came cold, so it was really bad. Greasy, cold and not very fresh food,... More

Run by a Nepali family living in Myanmar for 3 generations, The girl who was on the counter spoke Hindi also. The food on the menu was all 1500-3000 Kyat. Each item came with 3 curries and was tasted good and was enough in quantity. The Ginger Tea and Lemon tea were also excellent.
